TREVOR LERMA

Creative Director

Trevor is a San Diego native who discovered his love of dance at age 6. For over 12 years, Trevor Lerma has been a part of the Evoke Dance Movement family and is a proud Evoke Alumni. He has received his training in Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary, Tap, and Ballet under the direction of Stacy Sopher and Courtney Barclay. At age 12, Trevor signed with Bloc Talent Agency and began working on various projects such as The X-Factor, Disney’s Shake It Up, H-E-B National Commercial, The Old Globe’s How The Grinch Stole Christmas, and Paula Abdul. In 2015, Trevor was awarded Velocity’s National Senior Male MVA and toured the country assisting choreographers including Kyle Hanagami, Tessandra Chavez, Blake Mcgrath, Shannon Mather, and Ade Obayomi. 

 

Trevor graduated Evoke Dance Movement in 2016 and moved to Los Angeles to continue his dance career working for various artists including Megan Trainor, Bruno Mars, Coldplay, Backstreet Boy’s AJ McLean, Justin Bieber, and Jennifer Lopez. Trevor relocated to Las Vegas in 2018 to dance on the Vegas Strip in ‘A Mob Story’ Choreographed and Directed by Brian Friedman, where he learned the discipline and determination it takes to fulfill his love for dance. Trevor has since stepped into the role of Assistant Artistic Director at Evoke Dance Movement where he discovered his true passion for choreography and creativity. Trevor strives to train the next generation of passionate and kind dancers by motivating them to display their true selves and to show that dance is limitless.
