BROOKE JENKINS

Teacher / Choreographer

Brooke Jenkins, originally from Encinitas, California, began her dance journey at the age of three. She received training in various dance styles at Evoke Dance Movement, where she studied under mentors such as Courtney Barclay, Cassie Roberts, Stacy Sopher, and Cheyenne Kibblewhite. Later, she joined Mather Dance Company, focusing on contemporary and lyrical styles, and refining her technique under the guidance of Shannon Mather and Nicole Smith. During her competitive years, Brooke was a member of the MVA+ program with Velocity Dance Convention, touring the nation and assisting renowned choreographers like Kyle Hanagami, Melissa Sandvig, and Whitney Robinson. These experiences also introduced her to the commercial dance world, where she explored on-screen opportunities from a young age.

Brooke recently graduated from UC Irvine with a BFA in Dance Performance and a minor in Management. During her time at school, she performed in numerous shows, trained with faculty members such as Molly Lynch, Dianne Diefenderfer, and Ariyan Johnson, and developed a passion for choreography. Brooke was also an integral part of the UC Irvine Spirit Squad for three years, serving as captain in her final year while managing an accelerated course load to graduate a year early. After graduating, Brooke signed with Go2Talent Agency, relocated to Los Angeles to further her dance training and pursue her career in the industry. She has held multiple teaching positions gaining experience instructing dancers of all ages in a variety of styles. Brooke is excited to combine her love for teaching and choreography back in the community where her love for dance first began.
